GVU Research Showcase Spring 2022

Featured Projects

GTRI partnered with Dept of Family and Children Services to develop and implement a system for case workers to discretely contact supervisors and public safety when in a home visit that is escalating and may turn potentially violent and put the caseworker in danger.
The T+ID Lab of Georgia Tech, in a joint project with public health researchers at Emory University and Morehouse School of Medicine, is developing a system to enhance trust and enthusiasm for at-home COVID testing.
We will demonstrate a Software-defined networking (SDN) controller that orchestrates traffic engineering for adaptive bit rate video streaming. An OpenFlow-enabled SDN architecture in combination with MPEG-DASH constitutes an optimized and seamless video streaming platform. The GENI infrastructure was utilized to evaluate video traffic over current network architecture and SDN architecture.
